I guess we are supposed to write a little bit about ourselves. Well, here goes.

My name is Wade, I love to hunt and fish. used to trap too but it doesn't pay anymore. I have fished all over the world, my hunting has been limited to WI, MN, SD, IL, SC, VA, MS and CT. I have been doing both as long as I can remember. I fish more than I hunt, but thats because fishing season last longer. I just took up bow hunting, and am new to this concept of the fishing "opener" as I am used to fishing the mississippi river down near La Crosse where the season never closes. I love to hunt Mallards and deer but will gladly hang up the orange clothes to get back after the Mallards as soon as I fill my tag. The way I see it, there are Mallards, and there are other ducks...I hunt Mallards, the others are bonus.

My other hobbies.....hmmm. I am a Packer fan, (so much so that if we only go 4-12 I am happy, so long as we beat the queens and bears twice each) I enjoy NASCAR. I enjoy riding my 4 wheeler. I love my kids and my wife.

In case your wondering, I lean to the right, believe in LESS government, LESS taxes, LESS Welfare and LESS gun control. Leave me alone, tax me less and I will take care of myself. This includes shooting tresspassers and hanging car thieves. After all, We used to hang horse theives didn't we?

That about sums it up.

My name is Mark, I'm moderator of the Shotshell Reloading and the Upland Bird forums. Some of my earliest memories are of hunting and fishing with my dad; long before I was old enough to carry a gun, I was allowed to tag along with Dad and his friends. These trips always began with the warning "If you complain about being tired or cold, you won't be allowed to come again". To this day, when ice fishing or hunting in very cold weather, I can easily outlast anyone I know.

Growing up in SE Wisconsin, I did a lot of duck and goose hunting along with a bit of pheasant and deer hunting. In high school, my friends and I would regularly cut class and go duck hunting at either Horicon or Eldorado marsh, both of which had great duck and goose hunting at that time. My dad would get me excused from school to take hunting trips to Nebraska or SD for pheasants.

After getting married, I moved to Minnesota (the TC metro area) where I did a lot of fishing along with duck and grouse hunting.

I'm now back in Wisconsin with a wife, two daughters and two jobs, all of which cut into my hunting and fishing time. Fortunately, I can hunt geese, pheasants, and deer close to home; if I get a couple free hours, I can hunt. I also use some vacation time for hunting--necesarry if I want to hunt grouse, get into better pheasant country, or my anual trip to central Wisconsin for opening of deer season.

I'm something of a gun geek: I enjoy working on them, shooting them, and reloading for them. I'll spend weeks coming up with the perfect load for a rifle. Wednesdy is my father/daughter night with my oldest, we go trap shooting; next year my youngest will be old enough to join us. I also enjoy building and shooting traditional muzzleloaders. I trap, but not much these days-- I don't have the time. However if a neighbor calls with a problem, I'll set traps righ away--this has been a great way to gain and keep access to some good hunting spots.

I really like dogs. Currently I have two female labs, one black and one yelow, and a freaky looking rhodesian ridgeback mix. I would like to get a GWP, but three dogs are about all I can handle

Politically, I'm pretty close to Wade--less government is better government.

Sorry if this was too long or boring.

My name is Ed. I have been hunting and fishing since I turned 16 years old. My first gun was a 16 gauge Model 12 Winchester pump which I traded at age 17 for a Browning 12 gauge A-5. Since then I have acquired, shot and traded many smokepoles and now use a 12 gauge Beretta AL390 and a Browning Gold 10 gauge for most waterfowl.

I am an avid rifle shooter and have shot and reloaded for most calibers. My favorites are a 30-06, 270, 7mm STW, 300 H&H, and 38-55.

I have taken several deer and black bear with a bow. Basically if it walks or flies, I am its ultimate predator.

I have hunted in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Idaho, Washington, California and the Canadian Province of Ontario.

I have taken Elk, Whitetail and Blacktail deer, Mule deer, Moose, Antelope, Black Bear, Cougar, Turkey, most local species of ducks, light and dark geese, Pheasant, Quail, Ruffed and Sharptail grouse, Woodcock, Dove, and Hungarian Partridge.

I fish primarily for Walleye, Large and Small mouth Bass, Crappie, and Great Lakes Salmon and Trout.

In my spare time I shoot sporting clays and scuba dive and dabble in digital photography.

I still work 4 days a week to support my hobbies above.

My name is Adam. My father started me on waterfowl hunting. I believe I was about 5 when he took me out duck hunting for thefirst time back on the river that runs through our home town. After that day I was hooked for life, there is just something about seeing ducks locked up coming down into the decoys that gets my heart pounding. Also the times you share with great friends in the early morning before shooting hours. At this time I hunt in IA, WI, and IL. I try to hunt as many times as I can during the season. I also am a very avid trapper, fisher, as well as hunt many other species than just watefowl.

Hi. My name is Brad. I was introduced a little while back to this site by Jason. I enjoy duck, goose, and pheasant hunting, fishing, camping, and pretty much anything outdoors. I did get out deer hunting this year for my first time slug hunting, and I think I'll continue that in the years to come.
I'm a Law Enforcement student in college with Jason. I just got back from Iraq and I just got married. This year has been pretty hectic so I didn't get out hunting quite as much as I'd like to.
I'm a Bronze certified bowling coach and have been bowling pretty much my whole life. I enjoy playing Texas Hold'em and I also picked up investing when I was in Iraq.
